Breaking Nuclear Crisis: Europe’s Largest Nuclear Plant in Blackout — Meltdown Risk Rising
The continent’s largest nuclear plant has lost all external power — pushing Ukraine and Europe to the edge of disaster.
A silent and growing danger is unfolding before our eyes. It is not a distant problem or a hypothetical scenario. It is immediate, real, and potentially catastrophic. For over a week, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant — Zaporizhzhia (ZNPP) — has been cut off from external power, forced to rely on fragile diesel backup generators to keep its reactors cool and its safety systems alive. At the same time, Chornobyl — the site of the world’s worst nuclear disaster — has again gone dark after Russian strikes. These are not accidents. They are deliberate acts of sabotage and escalation designed to hold an entire continent hostage to the threat of radiation.
This is now the tenth time Zaporizhzhia has been disconnected from external power since Russia seized it. The reactors are in “cold shutdown,” but without constant cooling and electricity, the danger remains. Diesel backup generators were never meant to run for weeks at a time under wartime stress. Fuel is limited. Water in the cooling pond is dropping. At 13.4 meters now, it is closing in on the critical threshold of 12 meters, below which cooling could fail.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has already warned that six of its seven safety pillars at the plant are compromised. Staff rotations, security, and logistics are unstable. This is what a slow-motion nuclear crisis looks like.
The same pattern is playing out at Chornobyl. Russian strikes on the workers’ city of Slavutych cut off power to the New Safe Confinement, the steel shield built to contain the radioactive remains of Reactor 4. For hours, one of the most dangerous sites on the planet had no external power. Ukraine scrambled to restore it — but this is proof that Russia is using nuclear fear as a weapon.
President Zelensky has warned that Russia is deliberately creating nuclear threats, exploiting the weakness of international agencies and the world’s fragmented attention.
While nuclear plants teeter on the edge, Russia is waging a massive campaign against Ukraine’s entire energy system. In one night alone, Moscow launched 416 attack drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, and guided air-launched missiles, striking critical infrastructure across Kharkiv, Poltava, Odesa, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kyiv regions.
Ukraine’s defenders shot down or suppressed more than 320 targets, but dozens still hit. Power stations, gas facilities, farms. In Kharkiv, a farm burned — 13,000 animals killed, a worker injured. In Poltava, gas fields were shut down. This is systematic destruction, designed to break Ukraine’s resilience and push its nuclear facilities toward failure.
This was never random. From the beginning, Putin’s plan was clear: destabilize Ukraine, destabilize Europe, and weaponize energy and nuclear fear as leverage. He used every tool — pipelines, propaganda, cyberwarfare, and yes, Donald Trump.
I warned you about this. Trump believed he was the dealmaker, but he was being played. My sources tell me that even though Trump was on board with everything happening, he is now starting to realize he was not running the show. He was not writing the script. He was being used — manipulated to advance Putin’s objectives.
Now Putin holds the leverage. He praises Trump publicly, compliments him, keeps him close. But with all the compromise and control Putin now has, what can Trump really do? Talk tough at rallies? Post online? The reality is, Trump is trapped in a web he helped spin.
That’s why this moment is so dangerous. A nuclear crisis at Zaporizhzhia or Chornobyl would not just devastate Ukraine — it would destabilize Europe and embolden authoritarian regimes everywhere.
I need you to understand that this is bigger than politics. This is about safety, sovereignty, and survival. Russia is betting the world will remain distracted. But we cannot. We must be louder, stronger, and clearer than ever.
I risk everything to bring you this truth — from inside the rooms where these deals were being made to standing here now warning you. We cannot afford silence or half-measures.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IN THE WORLD WHEN AMERICA DOES NOT HAVE A SERIOUS & COMPETENT LEADER
We told everyone to defend Ukraine, but those who had the power to stop Russia did not listen. My heart is with Ukraine every day. I cannot imagine how hard it all is for Ukrainians, for you and your family and friends, Lev.
