In one of the most intense aerial assaults since the war began, Russia launched 14 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and approximately 250 Shahed drones targeting Kyiv and other regions. Ukrainian air defenses managed to intercept six missiles and neutralize 245 drones—128 were shot down, and 117 were thwarted using electronic warfare.

Residential blocks were hit. Civilians trapped. Emergency crews are still pulling bodies from the rubble. Fires broke out in apartments on the third and fourth floors of a five-story residential building in the Solomianskyi district. Another fire erupted on the balconies of a nine-story building in the Obolonskyi district.

This wasn’t random. This wasn’t just another strike. This was a message.

And I want to be very clear: this massacre didn’t come out of nowhere. This is the direct result of Donald Trump’s two-and-a-half-hour phone call with Vladimir Putin just days ago.

He opened the door—and Putin stormed through it.

While Trump smiles and talks about “respect” and “getting along,” Ukraine is bleeding. My sources tell me that this escalation was part of the plan. The pleasantries in public? Smoke and mirrors. He stated, “Fragments of Russian missiles and drones are being cleared in Kyiv. Rescue and emergency operations are ongoing at the sites of strikes and debris impacts—wherever they are needed. There were many fires and explosions in the city overnight. Once again, residential buildings, cars, businesses have been damaged. Sadly, there are injuries.”

Meanwhile, the Kremlin described the conversation between Trump and Putin as “very productive” and “quite candid,” with both sides hinting at a willingness to compromise. However, no venue for further talks had been agreed upon, and European leaders criticized Putin for delaying peace while continuing aggression on the battlefield.

My sources are telling me this is just the beginning. Trump will now try to distance himself publicly. He’ll say it’s not his fight. That this isn’t our war. That Ukraine should “make a deal.” He’ll walk away from the bloodshed he helped ignite. But
